Long story short, I have always wanted an old WWII Willys GPW. Well I finally found one in Salt Lake that sounds like a pretty good deal, and I was wondering if you of you mechanically inclined gurus would be willing to go over and take a look at it for me. I'd be perfect if it was someone familiar to old jeeps and new what to look for in terms of positives and negatives (I'm an old jeep virgin, my oldest is a '68 Commando, so some expertise would be helpful). The Jeep is right downtown in a warehouse, the owner would meet you there and let you look it over.

YOU'RE NOT ALLOWED TO LOOK AT IT, TELL ME IT SUCKS, AND BUY IT FOR YOURSELF-_- -_- -_- -_- -_- -_- -_- !!!!!!!!!

Thanks,
David

Thanks guys, but the guy ended up selling it for $4200, too much for "another Jeep" says my wife. When I first saw it, he was asking 2k, then bumped it to 3k, which was about my limit, then bumped it up even more. Oh well.

I'm still looking for an MB though.

g503.com is the end all in military Jeeps knowledge.
