I smoked for years and got up to 3 packs a day. Woke up one morning after a nasty drunk and couldn't hardly talk or breeth. Quit there and then. Cold turkey. YOU CAN DO IT! (in my best Rob Scheider impersonation)

Good Luck I'm going to try and quit AGAIN here soon.

whats wrong with right now?

It's all in your head. Until you have fully committed to quitting upstairs you wont' be able to kick it.

take your pack, throw it in the garbage. early christmas gift to yourself and those around you.

Yeah I had orginally planned to quit after xmas, then I moved it up to this firday, and then last night I just couldnt stand it anymore so I said the hell with it and quit right there.
I dont know why, but for some reason I am having a way easier time this go around than what I experienced last week. I dunno. Its weird.

now if you could just kick your other addictions brett, think how much free money you would have?

actually, don't quit. My parents might not be able to make their mortgage without your regular business.

I think that the best part is that I don't even smoke that sh!t ;) Your parents are the difference :p

Now I can go in there house without coming out smelling like an ashtray.

Yep, It sucks, we can't even take our baby girl to visit her Grandma....Her and my dad (until it killed him) have smoked in the house for 40+ years!! It is everywhere and does not go away....Really bad in the winter with the heat on!! Even when my mom comes to our house to see the baby, I wrap the baby in a blanket so she doesn't get stinky, and I still have to wipe her down and change her cloths after my mom leaves....It is REALLY sad. I hate it!!
In highschool I kept cloths in my locker at school and in my car....or I would was them and imediately leave....
Parents both smoked in the car to the whole time I was growing up....I have the lungs to prove it....
Amy, I know you didn't smoke with Caulen in the house/car. Just wanted to relate stories for "others" that may not have quit yet.
NOTHING good comes from smoking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Stop now so your kids don't have to come home from a day wheeling to find you dead!!!! It SUCKS! Thanks to smoking my daughter will never get to hang out and learn dirty words from her Grandpa!

Stick with it Amy, Brett, and others!!!! It is the best thing you can do for your kids!

OK off my soapbox now....

I never smoked in the house, or in any of our vehicles, or within like 20 ft of caulen if we were outside. I was ALWAYS concious about where he was when I Was smoking. But I would never smoke in my home with m son though, I knew better than that. Or in the vehicles. No one wants to buy a vehicle that smells like ass either! haha
