I think I love this truck.

I had a '56 chevy truck project in high school. I was going to do this same thing to it. Bought a frame from a guy in Delta, already cut to size and body mounts welded in place. Nice welds too! It was still too much work for an impatient high school kid so, I bought my '76 GMC, threw my 36" Swampers on it and went wheelin. :)

Buy it ! I have a big block in the garage for you.

Our first four wheel drive that we bought when I was a kid was a 59 Chev Apache with factory 4x4. We bought it at a forrest service auction. It was a great truck and the only reason my dad sold it was that it became hard for him to find front axle parts. We should have just replaced the axles with something newer.

Correct me if I'm wrong, since I wasn't around in '59, but wasn't NAPCO the conversion you could get at the dealer? :D heh

There is something about the stance of that truck that is just perfect. 44's! Good hell.

What do ya know, there's a first time for everything. :D Yes, you're correct. Oh, I'm not some old Chebby groupie of nothing, but I did have a 59 NAPCO. No scanner, or I'd show you it. I did take second in the West Coast Truckin Nationals with it, and it's resting comfortably in a private collection in Oklahoma City now.

Logan? huh... I've never seen that one around.

Cool trucks that's for sure  I would tone it down a bit and rock a 292 and 35's on that ol' girl :greg:
