Rode her off the showroom floor, I was 3 months without a bike and I couldn't stand it...

Sweet, is it black like the brochure pic?
yep...it is one of the few times in my life where I had sexual emotions for a piece of metal!!

I sold my old bike a while ago and I had a short list of requirements and this bike absolutely blew me out of the water. They took what they had learned with the roadstar and the roadstar warrior and plopped it into a completelly redisigned bike. The bike has torque for days and handles like a bike 200lbs its junior. All aluminum frame with some gorgeous welds on it, belt drive, almost 1900 cubic inches and a valve in the exhaust that varies the back pressure according to engine speed to optomize torque throughout the power band...it pulls like a big block and from the review I have read should get between 40 and 50mpg since it is fuel injected.

Ohh, I almost forgot...they threw in a 5 year warranty for free as a yamaha promotion...that killed the first year model jitters for me.

It was about 13.5 out the door T/T/L

A word of advice for everyone...if you are casually looking, don't test ride this thing, you will transform into "I am in love with the handling of this bike and gotta have it" Guy.

Glad to hear they got the power problems worked out. I always liked the bike but heard it was gutless. It's gorgeous for sure. Be safe and happy motoring.

Man, I gotta get a bike.
