Hi, I am planning a project for mid may, on my M226 (Dana 44 Variant) Nissan titan rear end.

I want a Detroit TrueTrac locker installed as well as 4.56 Gears from Ruggedrocksoffroad.com I also need 4.56's installed in my front diff.

The rear end has 30,000 miles on it with no issues at all. However I need a locker and I plan on swapping my 35s out for 37s....so its only a matter of time until I break something...

What shops do you recommend? what shops to stay away from?

I was told Labor for the TrueTrac and gears for just the rear end should be around $500. is this high or average?

Help is greatly appriciated. I cant afford much downtime, so a shop that does not play games and is honest is what I need!

when in doubt, upgrade!

Let's keep this positive and we will skip shops to stay away from.
Ilean is a great guy. (SLC) Team Fred is also great at this (Kaysville area). Ufab down south. (Provo)

Where do you live?

I second ILean if the axle is out. If its in Six States is a good place to go. At least the one in Orem and I'm pretty sure the Salt Lake branch is still good.
