I Won Green Day Tickets!!!

WOO HOO!!! I really wanted to go. Verizon was giving away some tickets. I emailed, entered on the web-form, and did a text message trivia game on my phone, and then on Chicky's phone. Chicky got the call a few minutes ago. She got them. Sounds like we are going to something before the concert tomorrow afternoon where we meet the band and get free stuff, too. Sweet! :greg:

keep us posted on if they play songs or preach politics the whole time. i used to love greenday(still listen to dookie and nimrod regularly), but i don't dig the new political album. bands that are very political typically just stand there and have the crowd chant a bunch of not very nice stuff about america and its leaders

Tomorrow. I'll post up a quick report in this thread. The cool thing about America is that everyone can have an opinion, and if your opinion doesn't agree with mine, that's okay. That's why we vote. They can have a different opinion then mine. As long as they put on a show that rocks, I'll be happy.

I like the new one, I just make sure not to pay attention to what they are saying, if I did that I'm sure I'd be pissed at them.

Yup, I think American Idiot is the best album yet. Packed with great songs.

i am pissed that the album has such great sound (from what i've heard) but content means a whole lot to me.
