Why did they feel the need to point out that businesses evacuated included a Foot Locker and McDonald's?

...and Toys-R-Us. I assumed they were just stating those were the first places to be evacuated.

It also helps give a better sense of where this all went down, if you're familiar with Times Square. It's a crap-ton bigger than your average city intersection.
