If we brought back the RME BBQ, would you want to attend?

If we brought back the RME BBQ, who would be interested in attending? Obviously, the date (not determined yet) and location will probably affect the turnout.

We want it within 2 hrs of SLC, be somewhere we can offer a variety of trail runs (mild & challenging) and plan it for a Saturday.

At this point we're just trying to gauge interest. Please use the poll to vote so we can get an approximate number.

Around 10-15 yrs ago we had 5-6 yearly 'RME BBQ' trips in Moab and they grew to the point that we had a great turnout, hosted a BBQ in the park, held raffles and supported local clubs with the proceeds. We combined that with trail runs over the weekend. We want to bring it back, make it happen a little closer to SLC since that's where the majority of RME members are. We're in the planning stages right now, but I'm excited to bring it back. It'll probably be a late Summer event, more details to come.

I don’t know where we’d go that’s within 2 hours of SLC but I’m down. I’ve always regretted not pulling the trigger on one of the BBQ’s way back when.

I guess Delta or Price trails are an option but I just don’t know them.

Maybe we should do Vernal? Its only, what 3 hours? And all those trails from VRR are open all year since its all BLM and USLTP. Id kill to get some non-VRR time on those trails.
