Quite honestly, if I were given the offer, I'd keep what I have (a 2012 JKU) and add roof top tent, dead coyote rack, gas cans, 35's, levitation drive, mr. plutonium adapter, etc
Utimately, the choice is determined the desired end result. For myself, I lean towards extended expeditition capability with some modicum of comfort as opposed to flat-out-crawl-over-anything'ness

The choices were supposed to be any brand new 2012-13 American brand truck or suv. But only a few people played by the rules.

Hmm. Brand new, $30-50k? That rules out the bitchin' Cummins tow rig I'd want.

I guess I'd have to get some kind of JK, with a dealer-installed lift and tires to satisfy the "brand new" bit. But I'd want it to get totalled right after the title was released so I could pocket the cash and buy what I really want: A sweet LS-powered Land Cruiser Troopie, with a 60/70 combo and 36's.
