I'm a web wheeler

Yeah, I'm reduced to web wheeling most of the year since I moved away from Moab.
Somebody offer me lots of cash to come wheel full time... I'm your guy:D

My name is Tim Berry, and I see several familiar names here - Hi everybody!

I live in Missouri now, but spent 5 weeks in Colorado, South Dakota, Wyoming, and Utah last year - three of those weeks in Utah.

I've done most of the Jeep Safari trails many times and even been an official leader on a lot of them. I'm a little bored with that now though and spend most of my time driving roads I've either not driven lately, or maybe never drove before.

Glad to find this site - was not really aware it was here.

Here's a jeep shot to maybe jog some memories. Mine is the white one.

Bigger is better, I always say. :D

Welcome to RME! I 'kinda' know how you feel. I used to live under 2 hrs to Moab and last year I moved another 2 hrs away. :(

The jeep does look familiar, I'm sure we've crossed paths.

And I'm usually in the Green Jeep behind Tim helping him get lost, or geographically challenged as I like to think of it. Mike Ames, long time Moab goer, but living in Texas is not conducive to wheeling out that way more than once or twice a year.

I guess Web-wheeling is a knotch above bench racing/wheeling. You know, the guys who have rigs but would rather talk about what their rig could really do IF they took it offroad rather than actually getting out and driving it.

Mike and I are not web wheelers by choice - we live a long ways from the action and this is about the only way we can "get a fix" between trips. I envy those of you that can do weekend trips in the desert and mountains. I lived in Moab for 10 years and did not realize how good I had it until I left.

I have wheeled with Tim and Mike for over 10 years There both as good as it gets off road. We have done a lot of exploring in the Moab area. They are a
assit to RME.

Hey Tim... what days are you going to be in Moab? Love to do some "sploring" with you. Maybe Bob will come out of his shell???? Suppose Guy will be down early as usual. Maybe a threesom would work?

Good to hear from you! Will Karen be here?

I'll be there the 2nd and will start home on the 18th I think. Guy plans to be there for at least that time frame, maybe more. I plan to wheel every day, but only 3 days as part of the official event. I'll probably do 7MR with Bob again - that way I know I'll get at least one day of wheeling with him. Karen and the boys will fly out the 13th I think, and ride back with me.

The term "threesome" when it involves only dudes makes me nervous..... But if you are talking wheeling then bring it. ;)

Damn.... where are your minds!!! How many times have you watched Brokeback (or is Humpback) Mountain anyway???

So where are you staying when you get to town? At the same campground you were at last year? Don't know how many days I can wheel, but I'll lie my way out of as many jobs as I can during that week or 2. My phone # is 2727 so when you get to town, give me a call.

Guy only had a 3" lift on the XJ so I bumped it up to 5 1/2". Just need some bigger tires but if I do then it's big bucks for gear changes. So I'll be waiting to wear down my 31's and then pop for some 33's. The only trail I won't do with it is Pritchett, but all the others have had no problems. Just have to REALLY watch my line.
