I'd say it depends a LOT on the reason it has a salvage title. If it was a theft recovery, that may not be much of a hit, but if it was water/flood damage, good luck.
Yep, selling anything with a rebuilt title is a joke. I was selling my 99 Camaro SS for an awesome price because it had a rebuilt title. It was extremely clean and had low miles for the year. With my asking price already a couple thousand under what it booked for, I still struggled to get it sold. I will never again own anything with a rebuilt title that I plan on selling eventually.
