they come to this country illegally with full intentions of having their children here due to the way the current laws are written.

here illegally and bare children then they all go home and do it right.

if they can't respect the laws then they should not be allowed back into the country at all.

So we all agree that something needs to be done about illegal immigration, but has anyone here done anything about it?

The house passed a bill which would secure the borders, and make it a felony to be in the US illegally (which is the EXACT same law that Mexico has . . . you go to Mexico illegally, you're a felon), but the senate KILLED that bill.
Has anyone called their Senator to chew the crap out of them?
Specter, Reid, Kennedy, and McCain should all be on or speed dial.

We wonder why the laws on the books aren't being enforced . . . well, what reason is there for enforcing them?
Politicians don't fear those opposed to illegal immigration, they fear those in favor of illegal immigration because they are organized and vocal!

The immigration problem isn't going to be solved unless we remind some of our representatives that they do NOT enjoy job security.

Also, anyone wonder why our budget deficit is at a record high?

Republicans are in controll of congress, and they are against big government, and government spending . . . right?

We've become lazy and think that others will make sure our government is doing what we elected it to do, but we forget how powerful special interest lobbies, and greed are.

Example: how much are you paying for gas right now? Do you think it gas is so high solely because of the price of Oil?
Nope, it's ethanol.
The ethanol lobby is massive. It consists of the farmers lobby, the environmental lobby, the ADM lobby, and the alternative fuel lobby.
Ethanol has been shoved down our throats, and we have been told that it is good for us.
But Ethanol pollutes just as heavily as gas, and ethanol gets worse gas mileage than gasoline.
And gas prices are so high because the supply of ethanol is NOT meeting the demand.

I'm done ranting now.
