I was out hiking today and came across this snake and have never seen one with this coloring?

I've seen a few like that. I think its a rubber boa or a racer... Can't remember

Deffinately not a rubber boa, could be the yellow bellied racer or mormon constrictor.

It looks like a Yellow bellied racer, Jack, I think the mormon constrictor is the same species if I am not mistaken.

Yes, I checked they are the same. I remember we had Blue Racers in Missouri that would actually raise dust going down a dusty road.

ooh, things look a little different on this sh*tty monitor. No, they had a couple stripes running down their back.. but yellow underneath.
