Cool, I too am running the TI so the overtemp light would be cool..

Did you get Seabass the info needed?

He will VERY soon... :D

It is fairly simple to get it hooked up, but does require the use of a resistor to act as a short during normal operation. I have a couple "electronics" specialists at the U looking at the schematic to make sure it looks right...

I plan on running 4 wires to the cab...

1 - "IN" return wire
1 - "OUT" return wire
1 - Common solenoid wire
1 - LED control wire

I am using a trailer light harness at the winch (so I can unplug it to move winch, safety, etc), and the on the back of the switch panel will be a 4 prong connector (from winch) and then a two prong connector (12V keyed, fused & ground)... Should be really clean.

I will have a schematic as well as the colors of the wires as soon as I have someone verify my thinking ;)

If you don't have any luck with the U dudes I could pull mine apart and see what ohm of resistor is used, real simple?

I know what ohm resistor the Warn setup uses (1k), but that is where the problem lies... truly the size of the resistor is relative to the length of the wire (to the heat temp switch & led) as well as the actual dynamics of the temp switch on the motor... I think 1k will be OK in our applications too (the wire from the winch to the cab is ~ the same length as the hand controller). I still wanted to look at the actual resistor used by Warn, but they place it in the controller, not inside the winch (I have mine pulled apart right now).

More to come :D
