I had a radial arm saw that was made in the early 90's that never gave me any problems.

About 6 months ago I found out they had a recall for an unsafe blade guard.

It seems that some how they suddenly were spontaneously cutting off all the owners fingers so they sent out a new guard and table that was worth about twice as much as the saw.

It pisses me off every time I hear the lawyers in the congress and senate say that tort reform isn't needed.

If you don't like something and can get a lawyer to go along you can litigate anything out of existence.
