Insurance Strategy ???

It begins today... I have an Adjuster from his insurance coming in the next hour and one from mine coming around 2 to check out my truck...
 
No offers yet but I am officially totaled... I am starting to like the new Ford F150 crew Eco-Boost rental they gave me though...lol Im not a Ford guy at all but that little V6 with those turbos is no joke....
 
I have settled with his Insurance company. His Insurance gave my truck a value almost $4k higher than my Insurance company did. I am however still waiting for the salvage company to come pick up the remains. The scrap value they assigned was over $5k. There was no chance I would have kept it for that much $$. As soon as they pick up the truck the Insurance company will mail the check. I'm told the check is printed and ready to send out. Needless to say I came out OK here. I got more for the truck than I was asking for it when it was for sale. I was also able to repair the garage door for $200 and keep the extra there as well. Overall, all is good, it will be better once the check arrives....
