When I quote someone and post a reply, how do I scroll down to the bottom of the quoted text if it's longer than what will fit in the little text editor box? I can post a reply above the quoted text, but I can't find any way to scroll down to post under it. Same problem when editing a post that's longer than what will fit in the box.

On a desktop or laptop, there is a scroll-bar, or I can use the arrow keys. On an iPad there are no arrow buttons, and the scroll-bar is missing. :(

On my iPhone you just hold the screen and pull down in the box. If that makes sense.
Nope
Can't you flick the screen up? That is how I do it on my phone. Not familiar with the family of apple devices though.
this just flicks the whole screen up and down, but does not move the text within the box.
Put two fingers on the box and scroll up and down.

That's what she said.

This totally works! Thanks Stephen!
