Is American Fork Canyon Open?

I will be going horse back riding up there tomorrow i will give a report on how it is doing.

i'll tell you now its doing good a lot of the snow has melted the snow line is at about 9000 with drifts still being found at 7500 or so.it should open on time this year.the slide was mostly snow and is already passable.the rock face a bit more up the trail were its vertical on your left and a cliff on your right(possibly the narrows) is still soaking wet and looks unstable.

hows that for a report.i'm hoping it should open on time as well

Well we went up today and it is open!!! We didn't encounter any snow till we took the turn off to forest lake and it was patchy but the whole trail was a stream and we had to turn back about little over a third the way up it on horse back. If you want to try it take multiple Built rigs with chain saws to clear the trail, the snow got about 3 feet deep.

We just got back... Forest Lake still has plenty of snow...
