Jeep Is anyone running the Teraflex JK 2" rear stretch?

I'd like a small stretch on the rear of my 2 door, but it seems like no one has any feedback on this kit yet. I'm hoping it will take some leverage off of my rear suspension after I added the heavy bumper, tailgate hinge, and cargo rack.

I wanna say his is a 3 link stretch by Rock Krawler or Metal Cloak. I like the geometry of those, but I don't like the joints they use. I prefer the joints in the Alpine Flexarms.

Does this kit move the rear tire dangerously close to the rear of the fenderwell?

On most short arm JKs the tire is dangerously close to the front of the wheel well. This kit almost just centers everything back up.

Not really, there is a ton of adjustment in the arms though and you can usually get things centered back up easily enough. When I do a long arm install I usually move all the brackets as far backwards as they will allow in order to center things up in the wheelwell.

If I remember right Zach is running a Rock Krawler kit. Its a super awesome kit.

Not really, there is a ton of adjustment in the arms though and you can usually get things centered back up easily enough. When I do a long arm install I usually move all the brackets as far backwards as they will allow in order to center things up in the wheelwell.

I was wondering how much adjustment were in the long arms and how much you can move the brackets back. The Long arm system is also a possibility at this point, but ultimately I think I want a tiny bit more wheelbase.

I miss my CJ5. It was so much more simple and cheap compared to the JK platform.

After having the Alpine joints on my front axle, I'm really not interested in running any other style joint, even if I build a CJ5.

the Teraflex Alpine arms do not have enough adjustability to classify them as a stretch kit. You will have enough movement to align the rear axle and make sure your clearances and pinion angles are correct, but not enough to really play with the wheelbase. The Stretch kit gives you longer arms, but also gives you spring relocation brackets, bump stop relocation pads, and rear track bar relocation brackets. You're not just pushing the axle back, you're pushing your whole rear suspension back.

I understand the differences, I just wish I could get significantly longer arms and the stretch at the same time. Say 6" longer arms over OEM lengths.

He just bought an Infinity G37x. I'm now the "proud" owner of yet another vehicle...... It needs a new home (although the stretch kit is a little tempting.... )
