I need more space and time to finish all of my crazy projects.
To start off I got a doner tracker for some parts to finish up some things on my wifes Sidekick project, and finally got it out of my garage tonight. My runner has been neglected since 193KYLE and I started a minitruck project for my little brother, and I haven't had a spare weekend for a month to go wheeling. I think I need to take on one project at a time so I can get something finished.
Sidekick started out as a 2wd, that quickly became 4wd by linking it front and rear with yota axles; Front is a 3 link with panhard bar, and rear is single triangulated 4 link both running TG creeper joints and 14" x 175lb coils. Running stock 4:10's with a genuine quick lock rear locker for now. Eventually Skippy at TCharged performance is going to help build this thing a turbo kit.
S-10 Minitruck has now been backhalved, reveresed canatevered 4 linked, bagged all the way around, custom tubular upper and lower control arms, tubbed out firewall to lay out on 20's, stretched the whole wiring harness, eliminated the abs, redid most of brake lines/ fuel lines, raised gas tank, smaller brake boosted, relocated toyota clutch master cyl to clear front tire, tubbed out bed, 2 viair compressors, 8 valves, 4 switches.......... you get the point. I think building minitrucks right is more work that a crawler
So here are some progress pics on all the shizzz
