She was one of the toughest Professors I've ever had. Russian native, would threaten to shoot us if we didn't complete homework. Great lady though, pushed us really hard, I learn a lot in those classes.Somehow, I think it pleased him, as well.
Russian is the bane of my existence! It fascinates me, yet I'm not versed enough to understand it very well. And I constantly seem to be confronted with it.

Now you've intrigued me. I can't personally imagine any circumstance HERE where Russian would intrude into my life. Where I grew up in NY, there was a large Ukrainian population, and Russian may have had some nominal usefulness.
Tell me more. Is there a secret Russian underground here??? That would be great. Russia herself fascinates me. I'm surfing Englishrussia as we speak.
