My TBI 454 is dead. Haven't pulled it out or apart yet, but it went clank clank and won't turn over.

Likely just throw another TBI 454 in there, it worked pretty well. '87-95. Or maybe a Vortec '96-99?

Anyone have one?

I don't currently have a lead on a replacement engine for you, Brett, but I'm definitely in for the autopsy results.

I've found a couple potential engines. Now I'm wondering if anyone has a shipping stand or cradle to bolt it into for transport. Seems better than the old pallets and tires that I've used in the past.

I'm always in the market to buy 454 tbi throttle bodies (i do a crap-ton of tbi swaps at the shop) i have tons of 350 ones, and V6 ones. But only a couple 454 ones. If your old engine is dead, would you consider selling the throttle body? (assuming the new engine has one)
