Its a sad day at the Beck household

I have had my Powerstroke up for sale since about December when work got exremely slow. I wasnt behind on payments or anything like that just thought it would be nice to not have that big of a payment anymore. So I had it up for sale for what I owed on it.

I had a lot of calls with people low balling me. Only had one guy come drive it in the 5 months it was for sale. Work started picking back up so I was thinking of taking it off the market. A guy called on it last saturday, came and looked at it Sunday and called me that night to tell me he wanted it


Long story short is he just came and picked it up not long ago tonight.

MY BABY IS GONE!

I have done a lot of work to the truck since I bought it and it was in dang good shape.

My wife and I basically cannot have children so we get attached to things that we probably shouldnt. We both loved this truck. I was completely happy with it which is weird for me. I normally like to get different vehicles every year but this one was exactly what I wanted in a realisticly priced truck.

It was just a very large payment. It will be nice to get something cheaper just in case my work dies off again.

I have been a Ford guy for a dang long time.

Ive just been drving a superduty for a lot years now and Im ready for a change. I wish I could afford a 08 F450 but ha ha ha ha ha

This truck is going to fit my needs a lot better as well. With the recent weight binge the Scout went on, a six speed duallie just makes sense

I have three you can have, well just two because now that they are teenagers, I can't afford them either. I told them a couple months ago that because of the economy being slow I was going to have to let two of them go.

You should see Jessor (Jessie Roundy's) 08 F450. We had a 45' goose with two TJs and a Toyota on it to EJS this year. I don't even think it broke a sweat while getting 8 mpg. It was quite a spectacle but it sure was nice pulling three rigs at once. Even with 8 mpg I bet we still saved $$ on gas.

Jesse, post a picture of it all hooked up so maybe we can save Cheston from going over to the dark side.

They must really like big exhaust stacks in Richfield, the last time we were visiting the kids down there we saw an ATV in a guy's yard with a big diesel stack sticking up in the air.

I had a 05 cummins dually with an auto, and would pull our 55' car hauler with 3 yotas. My cummins would run circles around my dads powerstroke, good choice!
