the only problem I might have is I have a tool box built in on the tongue of the trailer. Im not exactly sure how that hitch works but it looks like it bolts onto the tongue?

there is space behind the back of the box and the trailer frame. Maybe it will bolt up there.

I guess I better start doing some research

If you box is in the way then, just weld the brackets on to the trailer. See, what are you so worried about.
