ATV Restrictions
Prohibits the operation of ANY vehicle on an unpaved surface that is NOT a Public or Private road, Street or Lawful Easement and that is closed by the landowner.
This includes vehicles such as:

•Off-highway vehicles (OHVs)
•Off-road recreational motor vehicles (ORRMVs)
•All-terrain vehicles (ATVs)

High Pollution Advisory (HPA) & No Burn Day Restrictions
•Prohibits wood burning in indoor residential fireplaces (existing ban)
•Prohibits wood burning in outdoor chimineas, fire pits, etc.
(This applies to both residences and businesses.)
•Prohibits all ATV use.

I'm not sure that many ATV users are affected by this since it's only for the city of Scottsdale. I've never seen any evidence of OHV recreation opportunities within the Scottsdale city limits.

Limited use in the areas adjacent to Phoenix only applies on "high pollution" days, and the law has been in place since 2008.

From their "fact sheet":

"Emissions from OHVs are one of the top five off-road sources of particulate emissions in the Valley (see chart)."

OHV's make up the smallest group in their "top five". Where are the restrictions for heavy equipment (#4 on the list)?

I just found it interesting, legislation and rules about every aspect of life. How soon till Utah is following in the same foot steps of California and Arizona?
