Since I am still getting used to my new Commando, I am slowing figuring it out. One question I have is about the vents controls. If I had a digital camera this would be easier, I'll try to explain.

On the right side of where my steering wheel mounts to the dash I have 3 knobs and 1 switch. The switch is on top and moves left, center, and right; this controls the speed of the fan, left = high, middle = off, right = low. That one is easy to figure out. Below the switch in a verical line are two black handled knobs, farther down and a little to the left is a white handled knob. I have no idea what these 3 knobs do. I imagine one controls the temp and one controls where the air blows out beyond that, I don't know. I assume these are a stock set up, but don't know for sure. The 3 knobs pull out, like on a CJ. Any guidence would be appreciated.

I wonder if it has had cj style heater controls swapped in.

Look under the dash and see if they are even hooked up. One should control the defrost, and one should be the hot and cool. The other knob may be a vent control. I'm with James, these may be swaped in parts.

When I bought it the guy said they all work, I just don't know what does what. I know the dash gauges are all new, maybe these knobs are also.

its the new 3oz 5oz and 10oz arm excercise pull that failed jeep was triing to introduce.

Problem with why it was disconinued... caused to many accidents because people were using two hands to pull and not one as intended.
