James K, what's your bent?

I guess I'll start a thread per your request.

The ribbing about UtahOffroad.com having more members was a ploy that I worked on with Greg and Kurt. Considering the board rivalry that goes on with all the offroad boards, it seemed like a good way to motivate some people to join. We did the same thing with several other boards.

I did post a link to UtahOffroad.com in the "Clubs and Associations Web Links" forum, and I did post info about upcoming trips in other forums. Are you going to attack Josh from Utah4x4Club.com, Scott from Castle Country King Crawlers, Todd Adams of Rockhoppers, and anyone else who did the same thing? At least be an equal opportunity hater.

UtahOffroad.com doesn't compete with RME, it's serving a different (and much smaller) audience and different purpose.

If you are available, I hope that you can help us with the service project on March 25th. If you can't, then that's understandable. Not everyone can make it out to every service project or cleanup. Also, if you would like to join U4WDA and USA-ALL that would help the cause as well.

Join USA-ALL here and U4WDA here. If you don't want to join then we won't hold it against you, but I'll keep asking anyway.

So to sum up. Yes, I started a website called UtahOffroad.com. No, I don't have anything against RME. Yes, U4WDA is doing a service project on March 25th. Yes, I hope that some RME members are available to help on that Saturday. No, I had no idea it was going to be this hard to get 20 volunteers from the thousands of 4x4 enthusiasts in Utah.

I'm not sure what the concern is, but I'd rather you start a new topic or pm me directly rather than post off-topic stuff on a thread intended to get support for a SERVICE PROJECT.

By the way, do I know you? I don't know who anyone is by their screen name.

I'm on the Board of Directors for both USA-ALL and U4WDA in case you were wondering. I'm trying to figure out if I've seen you at any of the meetings.

You know I generally to not respond to PM of this nature. But here goes, If you are going to come on a BB you don't try and pimp another. I think you were very wrong in the fact of your club had this many members and RME was way behind in comparison to your club.

Some of your first posts on this BB where basicly to promote your own BB. and if I am not mistaken you got flipped **** about it.

My name James Kelley I don't hide behind an screen name. I would say we have never met.

Glad to see you are on the BOD's. But then again I wasn't wondering either. And no you won't see me at any meetings. I do my part to help when I can but, as a general rule I keep quiet about it.

There is no need to PM me anymore. You have something to say say it on the BB.

I am actually planning on going to this. But it is hard to get excited about something when you question it and the guy in charge gets defensive.

do you really want to start a pissing contest over this??????

Jason Call, the volunteer/service coordinator for U4WDA is in charge of this project. I merely want to support it and U4WDA in the process.

OK. I also want to support it.

But, if it has turned into a U4wda service project then define it as such.

and since you wish to address things have you bother to figure out how I can donate to U4wda nad NOT get the magazine. I am looking for a better response then "throw it away", because in my eyes that is not exactly enviromently friendly.

Maybe the message was edited before I saw it? The post under U4WDA Corner has always said it was a U4WDA project (since I saw it this morning anyway). It was first proposed by UtahOffroad.com with intent of it being a U4WDA project. It didn't become an official project until it was decided on at the last meeting, maybe that's what's up?

Yeah, just sign up online and we'll make a note so you won't get anything in the mail from us, except maybe a renewal notice after 1 year. Or you can become a lifetime member for $250.00, and we'll make sure to note it in our records not to contact you.

Is there a business membership option? I do not see one on the site.

and honestly I don't think you do your research on who you call out, but then again that seems par for you ............ http://www.rockymountainextreme.com/showthread.php?p=191165#post191165

sorry man had to:p

Yeah, if you're interested in a business membership call Steve Jackson at 801-376-3332 as is clearly stated on U4WDA.org (only the email address is listed on the site).

What are you talking about? Please explain.

I do my part I just don't thump my chest about it. Yet you seem to want to make me out as being a bad guy.:D

You want to keep going or delete this thread?

What the heck are you talking about? You made some stupid comments and I responded. I stand by that. We shouldn't make dumba$$, redneck comments in public forums where our enemies can use our own words against us.

If you want to step and support U4WDA, then contact Steve Jackson and get a business membership or at least become a member.

WOW, now I'm a dumbass redneck. way to take the mature approach:rolleyes:

I was just re-reading the posts you linked to. I stand by all that as well. By the way, I've been involved with U4WDA for over a year, and still haven't seen a current financial statement.

Just to clarify, we shouldn't make comments that could be classified as such. That doesn't mean that you are a dumba$$ redneck. I fear that being logical with you is wasted at this point.
