These last few days with Kevin & the Boren family were a great tribute to Jared, I loved being a part of the Memorial Run again. Sand Hollow wheelin and following Kevin was crazy, I was uncomfortable more often than I was in my comfort zone... Kevin drives that buggy so well and it just flat out works. I'd watch him cruise up something nasty and make it look easy, so I'd try follow and end up sideways, upside down or just have trouble and take 5 min to get thru some of the obstacles. We ran a lot of the hardest stuff down there and it was an absolute blast! Many thanks to Kevin & his family for hosting us all! Really enjoyed spending time on the trail with so many long-time RME friends, I truly valued the time we spent together!

Oh, my favorite part was on Saturday after we were done with the trails... we started at the Top of the World and drove down the dunes with several rigs following Kevin in the 4 cyl YJ. I was playing with the LS3, TJ was in 4 high and I was opening up the throttle and really putting the power to the ground. It would hook and SCOOT at full throttle! The ORI's were amazing in the dunes, really added to my confidence at speed. That thing bombs so damn well.... the acceleration with the LS3 in 4 high was stupid!

After we got back to the parking lot, Katelynn said she was right behind me, keeping up the whole way down!

I wish I could have been there more than Saturday, but it was great being part of such a meaningful event. The Boren's are such a fun family to hang out with and it's always fun to catch up with RME'ers that I rarely see.

I cater the event to who shows up. The first 2 days just happened to be buggy days so we did 9s and 10s. Saturday we did West Rim which is a 4 but has 9 and 10 obstacles on it.
