I am sorry for your loss...

And as far as the dollar amount goes, if it's greater than $1000 of valuables is when the police will come down...

And I agree w/ Bart... I absolutely detest theives...

Just my little own story;
Last night I forgot to roll my window up on my truck.... when I went out this morning my drivers seat was BURNED!!!!.... Teach me to leave my window down overnight... I have no clue how it happened... it doesn't look like an accident (like someones ciggarette or something) ... It definitaly looks intentional... I'm lucky I didn't wake up to a fire truck sitting outside my house and a burnt down truck...

Sorry for your loss...

On another note.. for $1800 you can get a digital video recorder and 4 camera's with night vision capabilities.... this would give you a clear image of who the asshats are that you can burn a copy of for the police... and if you need help installing it I would be glad to assist anyone that needed it.

No good!

Years ago my mom's car was attempted during the night.. something spooked them... They left 10 very visible fingerprints on the top of the window and the slim jim! It took my dad numerous heated phone calls to get anyone out.. Finally the CSU came to finger print, and take the slim jim into evidence..

They(SLC Dept) were slow to respond to this type of stuff, even if there is legit evidence left behind!

The only reason to even bother with the police is to get a police report for insurance purposes. Now for the next battle.... with the insurance company. Good luck getting them to give you anything for your stolen valuables:(
