Back to the new Jeep... I think it is very cool... hope to see them produced... Sad fate for our sport as EZ mentioned... Within a couple years there will be no solid axle vehicles to build from.. everything will be IFS.

There's that Jeep Rescue concept. That gives me a little hope. IFS is ALWAYS better though, right?

That's what the mags always say.........solid axles are 'unsafe' and difficult to control. Have they driven a WJ? Get real.....I'll give them that IFS, at high speed, is better, but who's going to drive their new $40K SUV at 85 mph across the desert? Dumb press bastids.......

true, their write up sabout new vehicles are gay.....i don't trust anything out of those write ups, and most magazines in general....it's only true if it came from RME....duh.....

What's the exact wheelbase on it?

...and for reference what's a stock TJ?

The only negative I see is that they'll be more wranglers that can do dump bump now Less glory for the long wheel based grocery getter ZJ's,XJs&WJs

I think it's 104 (my memory from the Jeep website) :correction: 103.4" Nothing wrong with that wheelbase. Stock TJ is 94"?.... :correction: 93.4"

I dont know how close you need to be but a tenth of an inch is close enough for anything I build!
