Jeep Hauler opinions

I also think the gooseneck is the best way, but my yard isn't big enough to store one. I am thinking I will just build another 16-18 ft one. I saw some pictures on pirate from a link above about the two jeeps that fell off the trailer. Kinda cured my aggressiveness.

Especially when I think how much the insurance company would give my for my "totalled" jeep. - proabably about 10K less than I have into it.

Sorry if anyone does the insurance thing, but I read this thinking isn't that about right!

Didn't read the article, couldn't wade through it all. Why did the jeeps fall off the trailer? Seems to me to be a problem with the operator and the tie downs, not the number of jeeps on the trailer.

They fell of after he lost control. Seemed to me he had too much tongue weight.

Like I said, operator error. Gotta load it the right way. Spend some time weighing the rigs, the trailer, etc. Might have to turn one of the rigs around to get the weight right.

Same thing can happen with one rig.

I agree totally. It was also a very heavy trailer. I'll get a pic.
