Come on down and check out the competition in Delta Sat June 16th. We are still building on our park and are fairly new to the competion scene but feel we have a lot to offer, including a great announcer, Big Sarge!

Stock, Super Stock, Modified & Super Modifed Classes-1st, 2nd, 3rd place cash prizes in each class.

This event was awesome!!!! Millard County has a world class venue for 4x4 events. The head to head “Rock Racing” double elimination is the future of rockcrawling events. I had just as much fun watching the action as riding as “Giggling Grammy’s spotter on the course. This has not been the case for me at other rockcrawling events we have entered in the past.
The man made courses at the Millard County Fairgrounds rival any that we have competed on before. Not only have they made challenging courses for the professionals there is something for everyone to test their skills on when an event is not taking place! The area is open to the public, unlike the man made courses at Rocky Mountain Raceway in Salt Lake and Firebird raceway in Phoenix.
There is a great teeter totter and other challenges built as part of the 4x4 area for us to play on. I can’t list all that is there, you just have to come out and experience it yourselves.
The next event planned is August 11th 2007 in conjunction with the Millard County Fair.

AMEN to that Todd! The park they have created is very unique and makes for an awesome event. There is a lot of available lines through the courses so they can change the track around for different competitions. Competitors run head to head, two sides forming a figure 8 type track. One loop is about twice the length of the other. It made for a unique event. I've attached a few pics. Not a lot of competitors or spectators this year but I think once the word gets out about this place it will be a large event. Totally worth the drive, I'm totally going to try and make it back for the August event.:rofl:

Yes the course is open to the public.
Here is what I understand at the moment. There is sign that states it is open to the public “Use at your own risk” If you want to get muddy or have the tire and log jam wet there is a fire hose to fill them up. There is talk about a $5 donation to use the site but nothing is set up right now. As far as a waiver goes that was only required for the event. Millard County wants this utilized.
If any club or group wants to put their own event on they would have to pay a small fee. I had though of doing a 4x4 driver clinic there. I plan on working on something on the order of 4x4 101. There are buildings close to hold the classroom portion then move out for the hands on or practical instruction. This place has everything from bridges to a teeter totter that can be set from mild to scary. Log crosses, boulders fixed in concrete and the climb (Mt. Delta) that is every bit as steep as the Materhorn at RME. It may not look it from the photos but trust me on this, it is.
