you will want 4~6" of lift and 33's.trim the fenders some.put a good air filter and intake tube on the motor.do a lot of reading on as much as you can don't just jump into this blindly.remember you are going to be going desert racing so also think about personal needs in case of an accident.also remember to make everything that you want with you locked down and unable to fly about the inside of the vehicle.you might not want to go as fast as possible but the others around you might not feel the same way.so be prepared for anything .think about some alloy axle shafts,lockers or atleast some limited slip diffs.racing and cheap usually don't go hand in hand.it can be done but once the bug bites its over.
