I'd check for spark first. If you have spark, then pull a fuel line or open up one of the valves on your fuel rail to see if you have pressure and then go from there!

If it start with starting fluid I would dare say it has spark.

Missed that part, read too fast. Good call. Fuel supply problem. Plugged filter or line or your injectors are plugged... but I can't see all of them going at once.

The Bronco Family appreciates your dedication to making it down for the weekend. :greg: I haven't done my shopping for us yet, I could buy some oyster crackers and make it worth your time! ;)

What year is your Jeep? Fuel filter in the tank possibly? Some years have them as part of or by the pump inside the tank. But a filter or injector problem usually won't cause it to just suddenly die. Have you checked ALL of your fuses, your ASD relay, CPS, and o2 sensor wires?? My o2 sensor wires wore through at the drive shaft and was blowing the fuse to the ASD relay last year, took some very thorough looking to find and fix the problem.

Like Herzog said, I would pull your fuel line off the fuel rail, if 4.0 it should quick disconnect and turn the key on and see if its pumping out fuel. I had a pump go bad, I could hear in running for a spell and thought it was building pressure but until I pulled off the rail I didnt realize i wasnt getting fuel.

Not necessarily, on a warm-er day starting fluid will ignite under compression only, doesn't necessarily need a spark, Not a good test for "has-sparky" little gasoline down the intake is a much better test, or a timing light...

First thing I would do if it starts wiith starting fluid is pull off the fuel line and see that you have a steady flow of fuel when the pump kicks on. You may have a fuel pump that runs but has a bad or sheared impeller and is pushing no fuel.
