I'm a fan already. I like it. I was thinking about a new JL but I am going to see how bad they get you on pricing for this thing first.

I would be all over something like this if it wasn't attached to a Chrysler product... Hoping the Ranger variant makes it across the pond!

I'm guessing the base model will start in the $50k range, options will increase the final price from the there.

Damn. Really? I do like it but you can get a lot of truck from the competitors in that class and still have money left over. I realize you said it's just a guess but geez.

Safe bet that it will be at least as much and very likely more than a JL Wrangler, which stickers out at over $55K for a Rubicon with most of the boxes checked. I bet you could get a JLT to sticker out over $60K checking all the neat boxes.

I really hope this is not the case. That's about $17k more expensive than the current Wrangler. That would put a well equipped Rubicon in the mid $70k range. I think this is cool but it's $17k cooler than a Wrangler to me.

That second pick with the canopy looks awesome. Definitely looks like something that can take you places with lots of gear.

IMO this truck was made for SEMA.

Also, I've seen on the FB some peeps that are close to the industry guessing that it'll be like $3-5k more than a comparable trim package JLU. It's not for me but I'm sure plenty of people will buy them.

I think this will put a hurt on tacoma sales. It’s not practical for me but I’d still love one.

it will be really interesting to see which direction the aftermarket community will go with these. I see a lot of Gladiators ending up on 37-40" tires, but never seeing the "hardcore" trails, simply due to their overall size. 42s and a bobbed bed might make for a fun fool-sized crawler though...

Personally, 3.0 diesel, 2.5" lift and some 37s, and its a great Daily Driver/exploration/overland/camping/moderate tow vehicle. but it'll never be the primary crawler.
