JK hardtop headliner

Anyone have any experience with the mopar headliner kit for a JK? Or any other brand headliner? They are $300 from quadratec and trying to see if they really lessen road noise and insulate better. Thanks

I used the Hot Head liner. One of the best mods I ever did on my JK, no complaints

I'll be adding a liner one of these years, but the top is already on for this winter so it won't be now.

I did mine with the top on, it’s super easy. You’ll just need a heated garage to do it in, it not something you’d want to attempt in the driveway this time of year there (it’s 65* here at the moment).

I'm going to do a Hotheads in the wifes JL next summer. Did a simple DIY in my LJ way back when it was newish. Definitely made a difference.

The LJ... Just bought a roll of foam backed headliner material and glued it on. Has worked and held up pretty well.

Finally got the hothead headliner installed, was pretty easy with the top on. Made a huge difference in road noise and the stereo sounds better too. I’ll post up after a few cold morning drives on the insulation difference.
