Ok, So I bought this Jeep in June of 2010. All of my buds had jeeps and I was always the loser that didn't have one. Finally my wife said yes, and this is what I got up in Logan Utah...
1998 Jeep Wrangler Sport w/125k... It was first owned by a female school teacher :), then a guy bought it from her and lifted it, rarely took it off road and made it look like this:

The day I bought it...

Then there came winter, and I had a bunch of little things I got done...

Like a new wiper motor

DSCN0200.jpg

A CB radio (which i moved after a few weeks to the top left side of the dash) and a sweet red rock shifter courtesy of DerekM!

_MG_6092.jpg

Then one morning on my way to work, I picked this up!
IMG_20110606_060919.jpg

Then Ahhst helped me weld up some D-rings for my rear bumper... And we rigged some quick disconnect mud flaps...

You're in the dry canyon parking lot. Lots of big rocks there for poser pics. I've done that there many a time with my rigs. Nice TJ.

Then I saw this mod on stu-offroads website: http://www.stu-offroad.com/electrical/elec13/switchpanel-1.htm
And started doing that to mine...

Once i opened it up and sorted all the wires, i realized how ridiculous it looked some of the wiring was mine but most was from the previous owner wiring up some lame power locks and power windows (which I hate, and if anybody wants them, I would trade in a second)...

Here is the rainbow wiring puke! Terrible I know... but the finished product looked pretty good!

with all my new switches, I installed some rock lights, and 4 Hella Black Magic spot lights... oh, and I got an AC compressor and built an on board air system with a 2.5 gallon air tank tucked up under the tub... (Ahhst helped me with the OBA)

Here are some other small things I have done...

DSCN0162.jpg

Third brake light:

DSCN0142.jpg

A cart to store my hard top... online they want $150 for a cheap metal one... I built mine for $15 or so, works like a gem!

3512345179_95fc5b3876.jpg

I rarely have people in the back of my Jeep so I almost always just leave the seat out... So I built this lockable box for the rear, it also makes for a good table when you are out with a group and want to build lunch...

I guess it wouldn't be too tough to get in if you wanted, but I am always pretty close to my Jeep and if I saw anybody trying, they would have Hell to pay!

Then I sold my piece of junk Besttop Sunrider soft top... (worked fine, I just hated the style)
And after a few weeks of Drooling over DerekM's "Rampage Bowless Soft Top" I got one for myself!
I was so extremely excited!

It was tough at first to get on (way tight fit, which is good) but DerekM gave me some pointers and it helped immensely!
Pretty sexy eh?

ok, Then I got kinda bored at work and decided to trim up my flares because my tires stuff way up into them and flex them out...
Trimmed the up, only leaving about an inch of the turned down part...

Then I trimmed up the front with a cutting wheel, and made some "FLAT" fenders... which in turn made me relocate my blinkers, so I went with some LED's all around...

I think I have you guys just about all caught up....

Except for most recently I ripped out the old squishy springs, crazy amount of spacers, and the old beat shocks...
With some help from Aj & DerekM!
