Grant, I'd ride your 200xcw anytime. I love that thing. There is not a perfect "do all" bike: that's why Greg has a butcher block of bikes and the rest of us are just a lil jealous.

That's true the newer 500 felt nice... just less precise. It's not just the physical weight of the thing but the gyroscopic forces at play too. However, you are a bigger human. You're like me scaled up 1.5...
With what you ride I'm sure you'd get more use out of it.
There's no doubt that the 500 would be more difficult to race or ride in technical trails, but as something that could do that and be dual sported, it has a lot of potential. I've always liked big-bore bikes and lots of bottom-end torque.
Being 6' 4" and 215#'s does help control a bigger bike. I like having options.
