Amy, you funny

Jeff, I'll have to call for directions, I know,0i know, you pointed it out from Moab Rim, but that was months ago. :)

actually, I think I'll go up mineral basin on Saturday, but just a day trip because I haven't been up there in years.

Maybe I'll see you up there. Thinking AF on Sat, then Sun/Mon we'll be down rockhounding either west of Milford or Topaz Mtn (depending on what the kids wanna find)

I wonder if I could convince the 6yo that there are "blue crystals" on the Eva Conover road?

Sounds fun. I'd love to do that.

Ya its pretty sweet. Its is not quite as awesome as the technical canyons in zions, but it is a good alternative to hikes in moab. Plus the simul rappel of the 5th longest natural bridge in the world is sweet.

I'll put an RME trip together one of these days. I guide trips down there all the time. We could have some serious fun.

Just got back. :)

We left Wednesday night with trailer in tow headed to Yellowstone. Spent Wednesday night through Monday morning in the park with the Chicky and the kids. My dad and brother showed up Friday night. It was a good time. I haven't been there in about ten years.

Awesome

I haven't been since I was a punk. I'm hoping to get 4 or 5 days camping there this fall or next late spring :)

Edit:
*little* punk

It's just as awesome as you remember it from when you were a punk. I don't remember the waterfalls from when I was a punk. Well worth seeing, even though it's not what you think of when you think Yellowstone.

Probably got hundreds of them. Haven't looked at them yet. Most of them likely have my kids/wife/family in them, so they would be uninteresting to unrelated folk. For some reason those are the kinds of pics I'm interested in. I figure there's millions of people better qualified to take pics of the waterfall/geyser/bison than me, so I should stick with taking pics that I can't buy postcards of. ;)

That and my little baby girl is absolutely adorable, so I can't help but take pics. :D

So... All pics I have are likely to be boring to the vast majority of folks on here.

Nice! We always drive through and never camp. I'd love to do that. I took wifey and kids to Boondocks monday for 4 hours. My daughter will never ride with daddy again in a go-cart. Son was smack talking to me at the bumper boats. Yup he was drenched by time we were done. :greg:

We were going to try to camp there until we found out the Madison to Norris road was closed. We wanted to see the waterfalls, and that's a LOOOONG drive from Madison with that road closed.
