Lake Powell

Spent Aug 12-20 at Lake Powell.
Striper boils started to become common late in the week. They were short, but fast fishing when they hit (several times had 3 fish on a time out of the boat, not bad with 3 or 4 fisherman, depending on the time.)

Awesome. My family went to Lake Powell every year when I was a kid, and I remember hitting those boils. Good times! I haven't been down there in 10 years so I think it's time to think about a trip. Thanks for the report!

10 years is waaaaaaay over due I would think.

I was not even 2 yet when we made our first trip, and the only year we missed until I was in high school was when a on-the-water collision left us with out a boat after early July. Was hit-and-miss until out of college, now we are 12 or 13 years straight once again.

Great way to spend family time (my youngest spent her first week of tent camping Powell in 110-115 degree temps at 5 months old.)
