Yes, at a dealership... which is selling cars, as you mentioned in the thread. If you want to promote the business, become a vendor. We do have a current RME vendor that runs a car dealership, so it's very unfair of you to expect that you can advertise for a business without being a vendor, when they are paying for the privilege. The rules relating to vendors have been there for a long time, read them and get over your self.

So what if someone DIDN"T work for the dealer in question, and said hey man, bring the kids! Bouncy house! woo hoo!! Is that "promoting the business"? I only ask because the wording of your response doesn't address specifically the fact that Yusef here works for that dealer, and that may make a big difference to some of the readers of this thread. :D

Clarification ain't never hurt nobody.

How about some consistency?

I worked at a dealership when I invited everyone to see the UAW traveling show with some sponsored NASCAR... no prob.
I worked at a dealership when I invited veterans for a free Lube, Oil, Filter at all locations... only black_ZJ had a prob.
I worked at a dealership when I invited everyone for free bbq and classic cars show for Chevrolet 100th b-day... no prob
I worked at a dealership when I offered countless members help with parts or use of the shop afterwards... no prob.

I've never asked anyone to buy anything from me and if somehow free pony rides, 2 liter bottles of coke, hot dogs and bounce-houses crosses a line... I don't get it.

As I stated... lameness

Sorry we don't follow your every single move and make our decisions accordingly. We're not running a CIA spy center here. :p

Questioning the moves of private forum owners in the chit chat forum of their privately owned forum is a great way to:

A: Get made to look a fool
B: Get your ass banned
C: Not accomplish anything

Ask me how I know...

This is not The United States of America...this is RME4x4 and your right to expression ends at the login screen. If the board owners don't like what you have to say then expect to get censored for any reason from they didn't feel like reading your post to fact that you might be acting an arrogant ass and everything in between.

Ask me how I know...

It's because you're really Wicked Monkey/2INSANE, isn't it?

Actually it's because I am me...and my psychosis on this forum predates most of the current active board members. I learned that if you have a problem with the moderators then it is important to take it up with them through PM and not drag your grievances into public to be mocked and belittled for their relative insignificance.
