I'm putting out the invite for anyone wanting to run Mineral Basin tomorrow night. We are leaving Lindon at 6 p.m. and going to see what we can accomplish up AF. We all have Jeeps with 35'' tires and LSD's. It'll be a fun evening ride up the canyon.

Have fun up there, wish I could make it. I was up there a couple weeks ago and there were still 4' deep drifts across the road near the top. Should be melted off, but probably very yet at the top.

Is Mineral Basin the Longest trail as far as time to run it? I was looking at google earth and it seems longer than MEG and Forrest but does it take more time to run?

Uhm, I wouldn't say its a lot smoother. There are parts that are better, and parts that are worse. Mineral is definitely a slower trail. When we were there a couple weeks ago, it was getting pretty rough in some spots, but not impassible. MEG has really gotten a lot rougher over the winter, just like drivin up a creek bed now.

I just got home, it's 1:00 a.m. Wow! My favorite trail so far. And yes it is rough and fun at the same time. Smiles all around for our group. I can't wait to go again. No breaks. We were pushing our limits with 35's.

Pics to come, I'm gonna sleep.

Yep, there was a lot of run of on Mineral and MEG, they both got washed out a bit. I almost hit bottom a couple times with my 38's.
