Pretty sure it's possible this will be my last Utah run for a long time.

Sunday May 18th.

got a friend that has never wheeled snakes before. I will be wheeling my Rubi and he will be wheeling his recently long armed "13 Rubi. Gonna show him Rattlesnake and Constrictor the right way, then run Sidewinder exit trail backwards.

If you don't want to anticipate body damage don't join us, unless you only plan on Rattlesnake. If you don't have lockers front and rear don't run with us. My patience is running thin with people who think they can run a tough tail and can't. I love teaching people but this is not a teaching run other than the one guy I am bringing. I know it doesn't seem to be the norm but I don't want to spend all day teaching noobs and fixing breaks from noobs. Sorry if that offends anyone.

Again, if you are new to wheeling please don't plan to hang with us. I love teaching but this run is about teaching a good friend of mine and I don't want to be distracted.

This all depends on the weather for sure.

Meet at the Chevron as usual at 10 AM.

I would if I could, man. I don't believe leaving my wife alone with a two day old baby to go wheeling would be conducive to proper marital health. Or even my personal health, for that matter, she swings a mean softball bat.

I thought about making this run with you, but I lack lockers and you made that a pretty firm requirement! Plus, I'll be stuck at the office.

Congrats, man!! 5 weeks in with our first, and I'm just starting to THINK about asking wifey for a full day... After work, sure, but a full weekend day? Ha.

Well minus the office part you'd be fine. I've wheeled with you and know you can handle it. I'm just reluctant to take people on these trails I haven't wheeled with before and don't know their capabilities. You know how to drive so you are ok in my book.

I'm normally more than willing to teach and deal with new people but I just don't want that to be this weekend.

Thanks. She's awesome and normally pretty cool about letting me get my fix when I need it, but the day after she gets out of the hospital is probably pushing it. :)

Dang it I wish I had seen this thread. I may have been able to make this trip. It would have been good to run with you in my 4runner rather than that wimpy little white TJ I was in last time!!!
