Main leaf

Front and rear main leaf problems? Do you have anti-wrap bars for the rear? I used to put anti-wrap bars in all of my (and most of my customers) vehicles that I ran XJ or YJ springs in. The springs always wrapped too bad prematurely wearing them out, as well as busting rear driveline yokes. On my new ride (Commando) I have some long (Chevy I think?) springs that I used in the rear, and added a main leaf from another spring pack that I cut the eyelets off of. No axle wrap problems whatsoever on this ride without anti-wrap arms. The added main leaf reaches to about the center of the eyelets on the rear springs. The front springs are military wrapped and no problems...

I have an anti-wrap bar on the rear. I wasn't sure if I'd need one on the front or not.

I have XJ springs on the rear of my YJ, and I did the same thing as Bud, got two stock sets and added another main leaf to the set I am running. So far they have lasted a season, well see if they get two. I also have a ladder bar for controlling wrap.

As for the front, I was going to do Waggy springs as well, but heard too many stories of them being too soft, so I still use YJ springs in the front, Tuff Country 2" ones, and moved my axle about 1" forward by re-drilling the hole in my u-bolt mounting pad off center.

I can see what kind of springs The Carl and I can dig up... Maybe we have some super duper heavy duty stockers or something...?
