Idon't understand why someone you know who works at NASA would not talk to you. People who work at NASA are just people. Just like people who work at GE Walmart and Starbucks. You have just as good odds of knowing someone at NASA as any othe company of equal size. You think you're the only one around here who knows someone who punches the clock at NASA? The only one who has an aeronautical engineer (or astronomical, as you put it) you can consult?way2nosty said:Did you actually figure it out, put any thought into it at all, or did YOU just read the posts and pic one that looked good. A better question is why do I know someone from NASA and why would that person actually talk to me about a post on some forum somewhere?
50-50 shot, better odds then vegas, yes-no! I'll play those odds anyday.

Cody said:come on now sport, don't be all hurt because it took you so long to figure out a child's riddle. None of my degrees are in the sciences, and it was still a simple concept to grasp. Another completely obvious (and equally rediculous) item that has come up here is that somehow you still are claiming to be an expert on a subject that you just spent the entire day making a fool of yourself as you defended a completely rediculous premise....but wait.... you know someone at NASA. lol, wow. ummm, wow.
wow. Credibilty restored 1000%. Couldn't find the equation to show your credibility meter taking off like a jet on a conveyer belt, but I'm sure you have it somewhere in your notes from MIT....or maybe that Rhodes Scholar buddy of your friends' fiance's ex Karate partner might know it.
My only point is bud, that you post as if you are the absolute master of every concept ever conceived, yet your master is only recognized by the highly informed singular consensus under which you post.
Cody <looking for NASA friends so I can be smart too.
If the car is traveling at 60 mph then yes, it does move.....Cody said:so you have a car right, and it's traveling at 60 mph into a 60 mph headwind. does the car move? and if so, could you blow it up with the r16 fazer featured in Nerd-destroyer 2 for xbox 360 or would you need the Vulcan molecule destroyer from episode c32f1234 of Star Trek next generation...
I think my 2 year old nephew understands why the plane would take off.

Cody said:you say 'no not really' because somebody else recognizes your mastery of every concept conceivable, or because your infinite knowledge allows you to see that there is a small probability that there may be something in this universe that you have overlooked and would only therefore be a partial expert on?
anyways, I'm just having fun with ya.

lol, ok, I'll stop. I need to stop wasting time being a jerk.
