I was digging though some old threads and stumbled across this :D To date this has probably been my favorite bike and that's saying a lot. Thanks again Corbin.

After a long hiatus of not riding (10 years+) me and my dad broke down and bought a couple bikes around this time last year.

I started out on a 2007 KX250F. It was such a sweet bike!

I loved the 250F to death, but once I got a little faster and more comfortable riding, I sold it and bought a super clean 2007 RMZ450

The same weekend I was down in St George picking up my 250, my dad bought this 2005 YZ450F. That thing is a monster

I happened to be checking KSL right before Christmas and found this 2009 YZ450F for a killer deal. My dad ended up buying it and it's an awesome bike, but I'm not sure we actually like it much better than the 2005. He's trying to decide which one to sell.

These are the current bikes under my roof. My son's 2013 65 sx (will be up for sale at the end of the season), my 2013 300 xc and hidden behind my bike is my daughters 2007 CRF 150RB.

I added some more orange to my garage over the weekend. I picked up a 2013 85 SXS that was a "Factory Demo" with 28 hours on it. It was used at some of the amateur nationals for one of the Orange Brigade riders. Getting the factory demo saved me about $1500 over a new bike and comes with a few upgrades.

shiny. did you blow through this year's race budget yet? ;)

Race budget.......my wife uses those words, but I have not figured out what they mean yet. If you see my wife at Knolls this weekend, it is probably best to not say anything about the bike.....I had a pretty quiet ride to Idaho Friday after stopping by The Edge and finalizing the purchase.-_-

Here's my 1981 Honda XL500S with optional chrome luggage rack and 12,000 original miles.

I've had it for awhile now. I bought it from a guy at work who was the second owner. As the story goes when his son was in high school the guy let him take it for a ride with some friends. Apparently the friends all had new mx bikes and they made fun of him and the bike to the point he never wanted to look at it again LOL

It's a classic and I love it. There's no mountain too big for the 23 inch front tire and no jump that the dual rear shocks can't soak up!!

I'm glad to see that the ATK is getting some love Andrew! I miss that bike a lot. Probably the best all-around bike I have owned. Since I sold it I got a XR650R that I hated. It was about 10% better that the ATK on the highway (only because of the higher gearing, it had a headshake above 80) and about 1000% worse than the ATK off road. I didn't realize how good the ATK was until I owned that bike. After a year of that I sold it and decided that no one makes a bike that can do it all (the 605 with a super tall 6th gear and a few tweaks in the comfort and maintenance departments would be the ideal bike for me) so I got 2 bikes, a 1985 Yamaha XT600 and a 1999 XR250R. They have been really nice to have and I really like riding the XT to work and back. Still working on getting it jetted. I need to drop the needle a notch for it to be perfect but it only has one notch. :( I will probably end up getting one machined or perhaps I can find a Mikuni/Keihin that is short enough with a similar taper. However, after making the trip up to Sandpoint ID a month ago my dad and I decided that we were going to sell the sleds and try out the snowbikes. I sold my sled (and the XR is for sale as well) and just picked up a 2012 KTM300XC. I am absolutely LOVING it! I have only been on 2 short rides so far but it is awesome! Oh, and I still have the wife's 150RB and the 480 and I just picked up an XR50 for my son. :)
