I think I have posted this before, but this is the Polar Ice Cap in Greenland. The beginning of a life changing walk for me.

Another shot of backpacking through coyote gulch. We usually do this trip at least once per year. This is both of my kids favorite place in the world to backpack.

You should do it, the trip is pretty amazing. If we're around, we would love to come along. If not, then I am happy to give some tips

It is pretty crowded during holidays and summer months. If you can get there in an off time you would love it. The first time I went there, almost 20 years ago, it as a lot less crowded. If it is a major holiday or the summer plan on seeing some scouts. We usually do it in 2 nights and 3 days, but it could easily be done as an overnighter. Make sure you do the side trip to black lagoon, it is well worth it.
