Looks like where someone's been dumping animals instead of burying them from a farm operation. Not sure what's up with the skinned things, Mountain lions or a dog? @JeeperG

Unless you were on private property, should be reported to proper land management authority. Unfortunately illegal livestock dumping happens.

Not sure what they where but the skins where worth something. This must have been around a decade ago, not uncommon to see in rural parts of Utah.

Actually its just one of my two cats and we travel to the cabin sometimes.

If you go up to Inspiration Point you can sometimes see the Mountain Goats that live up there. One of these days I'll hike closer to em. Remember that guy that was crawling around in his goat suit?
