There must be a tight real estate market for rat houses as well. Just 2 days after the last rat was evicted, we noticed this little guy.



He’s got a fairly pointed nose and very large eyes that catch the camera more than others.


He prefers the all night buffet and will stay for long times and come many times each night.

It’s weird that we are getting 1 at a time now as opposed to the large groups we had before.

Murder spikes for the win. Pointy nose got caught last night in my trap box. He stayed alive for more than 2 hours, but the spike kept him in the trap so he couldn’t get free. He fought a good fight and set off many traps. But he lost overall.

My cat caught a mouse in the shed next to our coup. She was playing with it very much still alive. The chickens saw it and decided death by a dozen peckers would be better. My wife said A) it was grewsome B) your chickens are pussies.

I took my newer chickens and combined them with my 3 older chickens today. We will see how that goes.
