I'll check out the Orbit roto heads, I just have a hose bib connected right now to keep things alive, the last time I went I got all my parts from the bucket of parts people picked up and didn't know where they went back to bucket. :handlebars:

Got to scare the Deere out of my yard first... the yard isn't going to be great for a while...

It's good and stinky, ain't it? BTW you can apply it as often as you want, and as heavy as you want. It won't burn the lawn. I have one spot near my driveway that won't green up at all until I dump a bunch of Revive on it.

I planned on reapplying every Sunday night until it's good and green. I put it down good and heavy tonight I'm looking forward to the results.

I wait a couple weeks between applications, but I would get some other products to apply in the meantime. Maybe some of the iron treatments that make it get a deeper green.

Revive helps the soil retain water deeper, but it also allows any other products you apply to get deeper into the roots. It's like an octane booster for lawns.

Are you guys using the spray on revive or spreading the more solid stuff? I need into bring my lawn back to life.

I used Milogranite on my lawn last fOctober after I put all the sod down in the back yard in late September. We have horrible clay soil in this part of the state and it really has worked well. I put another spreading on about a month ago and it is doing extremely well. I think I’ll do a spreading of Revive to see if it helps with some of the areas that seem to look dry quicker than the rest of the lawn. D001C97B-E6CF-4127-BC8E-352FADCB7D32.jpeg

Thanks. I have only lived in it for 17 years. Amazing what you can accomplish during the year of RONA when all your time and money isn’t tied up in motorcycle racing. Next year will be wired since Jack got offered a ride next year where that will provide his race bike and all gear and pay all his entry fees. I won’t have any extra time but should have a few extra bucks.

So today is the first day I've even turned on my irrigation to check it. I decided to severely limit watering this year because I believe that our water out here is going to be needed for fires as the summer progresses. My only real goal is to keep the 20 mature trees I have on my property healthy. On to my point... This is the first year in the 6 we have lived here that my whole irrigation system made it through the winter without needing work. The year I'm not really planning on using it and it's up and ready to go! Lol

My yard is getting there but I waited a while to start watering this spring as per our cities request. Now that the temps went from 70's straight to high 90's and triple digits it's having a hard time catching up.

I did add another sprinkler head to my front parkstrip as well as one in the back yard to try and combat two different dry spots. My theory was that if I add another head to hit those two spots, I can turn my time down on those two zones and therefore conserve some water. I also cut out two watering cycles per week this year to try and help conserve water. I hope I don't regret it.
